The company has formed strong partnerships with leading International and local Geosynthetic specialists enabling it to offer beneficial advice and value-add solutions for major infrastructure projects throughout the Mining, Civil Engineering, Construction and Environmental fields.

Fibertex Geotextiles Africa is able to draw upon the skill, experience and support of its shareholder, Fibertex Non Wovens A/S, one of the largest manufacturers of non wovens in the world today. Fibertex Non Wovens is a market leading manufacturer of nonwovens for the industrial and technical industry. With corporate office in Aalborg, Denmark, and manufacturing sites in Denmark, the Czech Republic, France, the USA and South Africa, Fibertex is globally represented. Since its foundation in 1968, Fibertex has continuously expanded and today manufactures nonwovens for customers all over the world for many different applications including Acoustics, Automotive, Bedding, Building Industry, Composites, Concrete, Filtration, Flooring, Furniture, Geotextiles, Horticulture and Domestic and Medical Wipes. www.fibertex.com
These are further supported by a specialist Exports division based in Hammarsdale and serving all cross-border interests including East and West Africa, SADC, Mauritius and Australia. Export sales are further bolstered by Geotextiles East Africa, located in Mombasa Kenya and serving the East African region.
The company also offers highly specialised non-woven products to the Industrial, Filtration, Automotive and Retail sectors through its IFRA division.
The company’s state-of-the-art non-woven production facility is the largest in Southern Africa and is located in Hammarsdale, Kwazulu Natal. Further manufacturing of other Geosynthetics products takes place at the company’s Gauteng based facility.
